ABOUT
Caitlin Upshall is a British-American author and composer. Before she learned to write, she would dictate stories to her mother, usually about characters with rhyming names. She went on to almost fail all of her classes in school by opting to write stories instead of taking notes. She graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Spanish, and then earned a Master's in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, crossword-ing, dinosaur films, and reading about the Great Emu War (seriously, look it up!).
I'm extremely excited to announce that my poem, "An Ode to Lost Girls," was nominated for Best of the Net by Does it Have Pockets. You can read the piece here.

As part of National Poetry Week, my poem, when grief calls, first published in Thimble Literary Magazine, was featured on BBC Upload. You can listen to it here, around the 44-minute mark.
